You Spent $10K–$50K on a Simulator. Is It Paying You Back?

The average home simulator sits unused 90% of the time. Meanwhile, golfers in your area are paying $60–$100/hour at crowded commercial venues for worse equipment than what's in your garage.

Premium golf simulator equipment

Expensive Equipment Sitting Idle

Your TrackMan, GCQuad, or SkyTrak+ cost a fortune. Most days it sits there unused while you're at work. That's dead capital.

Massive Unmet Demand

6+ million golfers use simulators. Commercial venues are overpriced and overcrowded. People want a private, affordable option — and you have one.

No Easy Way to Monetize — Until Now

Posting on Craigslist or Facebook groups is sketchy and manual. There's been no trusted platform to connect you with paying golfers. Simr changes that.

Common Questions

What equipment do I need?
Any working golf simulator with a launch monitor (TrackMan, GCQuad, SkyTrak, Mevo+, FlightScope, etc.), impact screen, projector, and hitting mat. We accept all major platforms and software.
What does Simr charge?
Simr takes a platform fee from each booking (similar to Airbnb's model). You keep ~80% of the gross booking amount. There are no upfront fees, no monthly fees, and no listing fees.
What about insurance? What if someone gets hurt or breaks something?
Every Simr session is covered by our Host Protection Insurance, which covers property damage and guest injuries during booked sessions. You're never liable for accidents during a Simr booking.
How do I know who's coming to my home?
All guests have verified profiles with ID verification and reviews from other hosts. You can see their profile before accepting any booking. You can also set house rules and decline any booking you're not comfortable with.
How much time does hosting take?
Most hosts report 5–10 minutes of active effort per session: greet the guest, make sure the system is running, and check out when they're done. Simr handles scheduling, payments, and communication automatically.
Can I choose my own schedule?
Yes — you set your available hours and days. Block out any times you want for personal use. You're always in full control of your calendar.
What if I want to stop hosting?
You can pause or remove your listing at any time. No contracts, no commitments. Honor any existing bookings and you're free to go.
Is this available in my area?
Simr is launching in Los Angeles and NYC metro (including NJ, CT, Long Island, and Westchester) in April 2026. If you're in either market, you're in. We'll be expanding to additional cities later this year.
What does Simr handle for the host?
Everything: listings, booking software, payment processing, customer sourcing, liability insurance. The host just needs a simulator and available hours.
